Eventide makes a beautiful sounding reverb algorithm, so I decided to try the iOS Blackhole reverb app. In this video I created a loop on the guitar with my Pigtronix Infinity looper pedal. Then I jammed over the loop a little bit while I manipulated the parameters of the app.
The sound is mostly straight guitar into the input on the Eventide Blackhole, but a minute or two in I used my Korg SDD 3000 delay pedal to add a little color. I used my Griffin Studio Connect interface to track my guitar into the iPad.
I think the App sounds great! If you play guitar its very easy to get lost in the ambient tones. Check out the video and see what you think for yourself.
