Studiomux is a great low latency audio app for your iOS device, that helps you get rid of line noise when trying to record some of the great iOS apps that have been developed. We decided to use it as an effect insert for this example on a jam we just started working on. The effect we decided to use was Frekvens, a very interesting Frequency shifting delay effect by Erik Sigth. We’ll walk you through the steps to hooking this up, and give you the audio example. So far we are big fans of Studiomux and we hope you will be too. The sounds we used:
Drums: Roland TR 505 samples, which we are giving away some of ours FREE ran through Neve Channel strips at our website
www.expandingsound.com
Synths: Roland Alpha Juno 2 Ableton instrument racks, that we put out in collaboration with Afrodjmac, available for sale at
Afrodjmac.com
Bass: Chariots Bass Ableton Instrument rack that comes with Ableton Live Suite. It is a Max for Live instrument. One of my favorites.
